The Winter Conference on Neural Plasticity is concerned with all aspects of neural plasticity: from development to aging, from learning and memory to pathology, from molecular to behaviour. The Organizers seek to provide stimulating scientific sessions in a beautiful tropical setting. Symposia are held in the mornings and evenings and feature extensive discussion as the number of attendees is less than 100. Ample free time is provided in the middle of the day for relaxation, informal discussion and recreation. The meeting site is an ocean front hotel offering all the amenities of a tropical resort.

Moorea (Tahiti), French Polynesia, South Pacific
Moorea is part of French Polynesia, located a few minutes by small plane or ferry off of the main island of Tahiti. It is commonly regarded as one of the most beautiful islands in the world; a picture-book example of the unspoiled, extravagantly exotic South Pacific. The waves break at the coral reef surrounding the island, creating a calm, crystal clear, blue water lagoon filled with exotic tropical fish. Its lush, emerald mountains rising from the ocean have a diverse landscape that will leave you speechless wherever you go.
Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa
The conference is being held at the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa, on the island of Moorea.
Nestled between two bays and set against a beautiful mountain backdrop which melts into a crystal clear lagoon, Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa is the perfect setting for a relaxing vacation. The resort’s white sandy beach is perfect for sunbathing or sports, while the scenic lagoon is teeming with friendly tropical fish. The bungalows are decorated in a contemporary Polynesian style and feature a private terrace with a plunge pool in the Garden Bungalows and beautiful lagoon views from the overwater units. Rooms also include an elegant marble bathroom with a claw foot bathtub, 25-inch flat-screen TV and free WiFi. The resort also offers amenities such as a tennis court, swimming pool, scuba, snorkeling, a spa and four restaurants and bars.
