The program part of our meeting was provided by Diane Deal and Mary Moretz. They came to tell us about a grassroots organization composed of county residents who are working on plans, formation and incorporation of the Watauga County Heritage Museum, Inc. It has been recognized there is a need to have a museum that tells our county's history.
