Friends and Family Campaign

Once a year WCE asks people to support their work thru the Friends and Families Campaign. Below is a letter that I have sent to friends and family. I know that many people would like to help WCE but volunteering isnt possible. This is another way to help. Thanks, Jack

I write to ask your support for a nonprofit for which I volunteer.

During this past year, World Computer Exchange (WCE) shipped computers loaded with educational content to schools in an amazing 17 countries: Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Dominican Republic, Ghana, Haiti, Honduras, Kenya, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Tanzania, and Zambia.

For the first time, Peace Corps recently supported our Computers For Girls shipments to Madagascar and Malawi. As part of this initiative, we continue to develop content and resources for teachers to inspire their students to pursue careers in technology. Please email if you are willing to volunteer to help with this work.

We now have 9 Field Associates in 9 African countries representing WCE and helping our partner organizations and looking to develop local refurbishing and training chapters.

We are working with Rotary to begin our newest chapter in Sydney, Australia.

We have also ramped up our activities in Puerto Rico, where we have earned financial support and created an enthusiastic team that is developing new ways to reach students and communities in need.

I write to ask you to join me in donating using this LINK. I am directing my gift toward WCE general support – or you can direct your tax-deductible donation to a specific shipment. If you donate $50 or above you can receive a 5 or 6-pointed hand-made glass-fused star decoration.

Best wishes and thank you for all of your help,
