In 2023, Woodland Community College launched its men’s soccer program, followed by the debut of women’s soccer in 2024—marking the beginning of WCC’s first intercollegiate athletic program. This momentum continued in 2025 with the construction of a new soccer field, a symbol of opportunity, pride, and community connection. More than just a place to play, this field represents a new chapter for our students and our region— rooted in teamwork, perseverance, and shared celebration.
