We are Forest Service volunteers patrolling out of the Gold Lake Snow Park about 30 miles past Oakridge a half mile before the Willamette Pass Ski resort. If you are a cross country skier or on snowshoes be sure to stop in the cabin and ask about joining us. We provide training and a lot of fun. We also welcome volunteers from the Bend/Sunriver/La Pine area.
Joseph is the WBSP training director, he has been on the WBSP board since he joined the patrol. He is also the Nordic Advisor in the National Ski Patrol Pacific Northwest Division. He trains and advises new members on necessary ski patrol skills and also helps refresh the patrol each year.
Past Patrol Director
Terry joined the patrol 8 years ago after his kids left home and we discovered WBSP. He enjoys cross country, skate, alpine, tele skiing, and snow shoeing in the winter and hiking, biking and water sports in the summer. He is retired but working part time at the University of Oregon.
