Introduction

I am a professor in the Department of Physics and Astrophysics at the University of North Dakota. I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of Toronto (Toronto, Ontario, Canada). Prior to receiving my Ph.D., I earned a B.Sc. degree in Physics and a M.Sc. degree in Astronomy from the Department of Astronomy and Physics at Saint Mary's University (Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada). 

After finishing graduate school, I was a postdoc for three years at the Harvard-Smithsonian, Center for Astrophysics, and a postdoc for two years in the Department of Astronomy at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
