What to do if You Have a Question?

One of the greatest strengths of the Association lies in its membership - teachers helping teachers.

If you have a question or a concern, no matter how seemingly insignificant or small, take it to a colleague in the Association. If that teacher does not have an answer, he or she can direct you to your Building Representative. There is a chain for your benefit with links that run from the building level through the Executive Board, Negotiations, Grievance, Vice-President, and President of the Association.

Don’t be afraid to ask your questions. You would be surprised to know how many questions resolved at the lowest level have led to the avoidance of major problems for individuals and for the school system.

Take advantage of your membership on the team.
