Leo Olson speaks on Immigration Justice

Leo Olsen, of the Free Migration Project and the #ShutDownBerks Coalition, will speak at this Way Forward meeting. Leo recently traveled with a caravan of migrants on their way to the US-Mexico border to seek asylum. When they reached the border, many of the families Leo was accompanying were separated; the children were placed in detention centers for juveniles or in foster care. The parents were sent to detention centers for adults. It will be exceedingly difficult for these families to be reunited.
