Welcome to Wavvy TV Plus. Your privacy is paramount to us. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information processed by our Android application and our commitment to protecting user data. Wavvy TV Plus functions strictly as a media player; it does not provide, host, or manage any media content. Users are solely responsible for providing their own content via third-party IPTV service providers.
As a privacy-focused application, Wavvy TV Plus adheres to a "Local-First" data policy.
IPTV Credentials: To utilize the service, users may input server URLs, usernames, passwords, or M3U playlist URLs.
Local Storage: All credentials are encrypted using industry-standard EncryptedSharedPreferences and stored securely on the user's local device.
Cloud Synchronization (Google Login): If you choose to sign in with your Google Account, your IPTV credentials, playlists, watch history, and favorites are synchronized across your devices using Google Firebase Cloud Firestore.
Encryption in Transit & at Rest: All data sent to our cloud database is encrypted in transit (via HTTPS). Highly sensitive data, such as your IPTV passwords, are additionally encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before they leave your device, meaning we cannot read your raw IPTV passwords on our servers.
Parental Control: Any 4-digit PIN created for parental restrictions is stored locally and is never transmitted externally.
Usage Metrics: To enhance user experience (e.g., "Resume Playback"), the app maintains your watch history and "Favorites". If signed in via Google, this data is securely synced to your cloud account.
Device Information: We collect basic device identifiers (such as Firebase Installation IDs) and model names to manage your active sessions across multiple devices and optimize stream quality.
C. Advertising and Analytics Data (Collected by Third-Parties) When advertisements are served in Wavvy TV Plus, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share the following data with Google for advertising and analytics purposes:
Advertising ID: Used to serve interest-based advertisements.
Approximate Location: Derived from IP addresses to provide geo-targeted ads.
Device Information: Device model, OS version, and screen size.
Interaction Data: Information about how you interact with the ads shown (e.g., clicks, impressions).
You can opt-out of personalized advertising through your Android device settings (Settings > Google > Ads).
Wavvy TV Plus offers a premium experience through subscription models:
Trial Period: New users are eligible for a 3-day free trial.
Billing: After the trial period, users may opt for monthly or annual subscriptions. All financial transactions and payment data are handled securely by the Google Play Billing System. We do not collect or store credit card information or financial records.

The application interacts with specific third-party APIs to provide core functionalities:
IPTV Providers: Data is sent directly to the user’s chosen provider to authenticate and fetch streams.
Metadata APIs (TMDB & OMDb): Used to fetch cinematic metadata (posters, ratings, descriptions).
Google Play Services: Used for app updates, billing, and basic crash reporting via Firebase.
Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK): We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements. The Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and processes certain data to provide personalized and non-personalized advertising, analyze ad performance, and prevent fraud. This includes the collection of device identifiers, such as the Advertising ID (AD_ID).
We employ rigorous security protocols to safeguard your local data:
Encryption: Sensitive data utilizes the Android Keystore System.
Network Security: We implement Certificate Pinning for metadata API communications to mitigate "Man-in-the-Middle" (MitM) attacks.
In-App Account Deletion: You can instantly delete your cloud account and all associated data by navigating to Settings > Cloud Account > "Remove Account" within the app.

System Deletion: Clearing the application cache/data in Android Settings will result in the deletion of locally stored information, but does not delete cloud data unless requested via the methods above.
