How do you blend viewing, reading, and writing in one thematic unit? Learn how two different teachers approached the same movie unit with a focus on literacy through a variety of reading and writing activities that strengthened students’ skills in all three modes of communication. Presenters will share their experiences with teaching the movie “My Neighbor Totoro” to 1st year language students. Activities and lessons are adaptable to all student age groups and levels.
