Noah was born and raised in Apex, NC (the peak of good living). He attended North Carolina State University (Go Pack!), where he worked with Dr. Paul Hamilton as an undergraduate research assistant to characterize thermophilic bacteriophages. Upon realizing his love for drawing lines and shapes, he worked as an organic chemistry teaching assistant for Dr. Kay Sandberg.

After graduation, Noah helped get the Rossman Lab at UNC up and running as a research technician and lab manager. Next, he worked at Novartis Gene Therapies as a BioProcess Engineer to develop gene therapies. Eventually, he returned to UNC as a graduate student and joined the Waters Lab in Fall 2022.

Outside of lab, Noah can be found cooking elaborate meals with his Le Creuset dutch oven, injuring himself in comical ways, and spending time with his friends and family.
