Side Quest - Poor Roscoe

Pea Kaboo and Schpee were tasked by Captain Staget ("Swagger") to return a couple of stolen paintings to the Museum of Fine Arts in the Castle Ward of Waterdeep. The Museum of Fine Arts is also adjacent to the famous Blackstaff Academy, one of the most renowned wizarding schools in all of Faerun. Schpee wants to visit the Academy to inquire about the new Waterdeep Charter School so that she can learn to read.

Schpee starts the morning bright and early, with hope in her eyes that today is the day she will learn to "read". Just when the sun started to peak above the horizon Schpee pounded on Kaboo's door in an attempt to wake her up.

Kaboo is up and ready, and probably has been for a while. It seems that fey don't really need to sleep much... When Schpee knocks, she scoops up Rito into his red robe before opening the door to the 2nd floor Den/her room.

"GOOD MORNING, Schpee! I'll bring a quill and paper to write down what we need for your enrollment. Maybe school supplies, and a uniform? But don't worry about that part. Do you have any forms of identification for the registration process?" Kaboo asks her questions and has her ink and paper ready. She is not sure what to expect as Schpee's answer, but is prepared to be flexible.

Schpee searches her pockets and pulls out a deck of cards. She flips to the Joker card and proclaims "Here it is!"

Kaboo says a silent prayer to her deity. Multiple seconds of silence pass as she looks between the card and Schpee.

"That is... Awesome... I think we're good to go." She gives a thumbs-up.
