Effective date: August 4, 2026
Watch Later Batch Cleaner removes entries from a users own YouTube Watch Later playlist in a batch sizethe user chooses. It runs only after the user opens the extension, acknowledges that removal is permanent, and starts a cleanup.
DATA THE EXTENSION HANDLES
To perform a cleanup, the extension reads video entries and the playlist-removal command present on the active Watch Later page. This website content is processed locally in the browser and used only to remove entries in the requested batch. The extension does not read passwords, payment information, private messages, browsing history from other sites, or unrelated YouTube pages.
LOCAL STORAGE
The chosen batch size and run mode are saved locally in Chrome. Temporary run progress is kept in browser session storage so cleanup can continue safely across YouTube page reloads. These records remain on the user’s device and can be removed by uninstalling the extension or clearing its extension data.
NETWORK ACTIVITY AND SHARING
Removal requests are sent only to YouTube through the users existing signed-in browser session. The extension has no developer server, analytics, advertising, or remote code. It does not send data to the developer or sell user data.
User data is not transferred to third parties except as necessary to ask YouTube to update the users Watch Later playlist. It is never used for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or an unrelated purpose.
PERMISSIONS
YouTube access operates on the active Watch Later playlist and verifies each batch after YouTube reloads.
Scripting runs the user-requested removal logic in the active YouTube page.
Storage remembers local preferences and temporary session progress.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICE
YouTube is a Google service with its own privacy practices. This extension is independently developed and is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If the extensions data practices change, this page and the Chrome Web Store disclosures will be updated before those changes are released.
SUPPORT
Questions or privacy requests can be submitted through the support link on the extensions Chrome Web Store listing. Do not include passwords, sign-in details, or private video information in a support message.
