A high-performance watch that can withstand extreme conditions, the Jumbo Diver's Quartz (JSAR) is the perfect choice. With its exceptional performance and durability, this watch is built to provide reliable and accurate timekeeping in demanding conditions.

For me, the CSAR is a perfect watch, by many measures. It does feel a bit expensive these days, by competitive standards, but it is a very carefully assembled watch and authentically designed for military conflict. Marathon sells these to governments and armed forces. That means they need to justify the prices in ways that the luxury Swiss brands would shudder to do.

The very first time I put the strap on my wrist I was for the first time a bit let down. The strap exhibited a bit of stiff leg syndrome where it holds the watch a funny angle because the leather just does not want to conform around the wrist. It was a bipolar strap in that the buckle end and free end of the strap were so flexible and found the keepers with zero effort and slid through the buckle with absolute ease. It was a bit perplexing at how one end of the strap could be so soft and giving and the other so rigid. Then you have to go back to the dimensions of the strap. The lug ends are knocking at 6mm in thickness. That is a thick piece material(s) and upon the first attempt to conform the rest it was no wonder it put up a tad bit of resistance. I am happy to report now within 1 week of wearing it, the watch yields quite easily to the wrist and wears surprisingly elegantly for a 22mm strap.

When deciding what watch to put this strap on, I have to keep in mind it is 100m waterproof. This strap is ideal for any dress or field watch with any amount of water resistance. I am thinking it would look great on any Hamilton Khaki or Sinn. I think it is a bit too dressy for something like an SKX but I have not tried so it may work. Even if this strap is not used for water activities, it one you certainly would never need to worry about getting wet with common everyday activities like washing the dog, or even playing a round of golf in the humidity or rain. A water resistant leather strap just opens up so many doors for use. The technical precision Di-Modell offers also means it would be ideal on a great many tool watches as well like a Damasko (which consequently uses Di-Modell as some of their OEM suppliers). The non distressed leather means it looks good on dressier dive watches like the Kontiki I have it on.

The jumbo squid (Dosidicus gigas) is the most abundant cephalopod species in the Southeast Pacific Ocean, ranging from the North American coast to southern Chile. This elusive creature reaches up to 3 meters in length and weighs up to 50 kilograms.

Effective monitoring is vital for the sustainable management of jumbo squid. Transparency around vessel information can help drive more informed and equitable fishing policies, and it can also help identify risks of noncompliance.

The Royal Oak Selfwinding 15500 is, in terms of overall design, very close to the original concept. The shape of the case is identical, so is the octagonal bezel with hexagonal screws and the integrated bracelet with its chain-like design. The difference is, however, to be noticed on the dimensions, as this 15500 is not only larger at 41mm in diameter but also slightly thicker at 10.4mm. The difference in height is distributed all over the watch, with some extra thickness on the bezel, the middle case and the caseback. Still, 10mm is not thick per se. On the wrist, due to the larger diameter, the ratio is somehow respected and feels balanced.

The difference in movements between the 15202ST and the 15500ST is responsible for most of the disparities between these two watches. On one side, we have the Jumbo Extra-Thin, with its fairly old calibre 2121 (the original design is over 50 years old), which is not far away from the original movement found in the 1972 watches. Still, thanks to multiple improvements and an in-house manufacturing process, it is still seen as one of the best ultra-thin automatic movements on the market. Measuring only 3.05mm in height, it features an oscillating weight with an annular ring running on four jewels, a suspended barrel and a fairly unusual frequency of 2.75Hz (19,800vph). The movement is nicely decorated, with polished bevels, satin-brushed edges, perlage on the main plate and a 21k gold rotor with high-end decoration.

I think the Selfwinding 15500 and the Jumbo 15202 are simply not meant for the same audience. For someone with relatively modest knowledge and interest in watchmaking, the 15500 will do an excellent job. Not only does it have all the elements you expect from a Royal Oak, but it also answers the demands of modern customers who want to wear their watches extensively, with a more masculine size.

Note: Watch is fully functioning and running with the hacking function still functional. Due do the nature of many of these watches, and the era of time they were produced, the expectation for these to run similarly to Rolex or Omega counterparts are not realistic and should be understood by the buyer before purchasing.

We love our customers, so we provide them with high-quality products from top brands. We are always looking to buy and trade watches, and we offer easy and convenient shipping and warranty on all watches worldwide.

This is my first post here. I have been trying to find the right crystal for a 1950s jumbo doxa sa with eta 1147. It is acrylic, 34mm, very thin, and domed to make room for the dial and hands. The old one is cracked and snapped in. I believe it should have been glued but not sure. The shape is similar to the one below. be457b7860
