Wassana Diyawara is a humanitarian project carried out by Medical students of university of Colombo for more than 15 years so far. The main objective is to develop a rural village of Sri Lanka and help to improve their education and health.
We are The Medical Students Buddhist Association MSBA of Faculty of Medicine, Colombo, Where the top-board of the year 2019 is held by students of 2014 A/L Batch.
Our mission of "Wassana Diyawara" 2019 project is the development of Yatigalpoththa, a rural village in the divisional secretariat of Galewela in Matale district of Sri Lanka.

Wassana Diyawara is a project with a collection of various events organized by medical students with the aim of uplifting the knowledge and the lifestyle of locals in Yatigalpoththa area. Click the box below to find out more about the events carried out so far.
Wassana Diyawara 2019 project costs about 5.1 million Sri Lankan rupees 28,700 USD. This massive amount of money will be collected by voluntary contributions and various events carried out by medical students despite of the tight academic schedule.
