THE LADY & HER TECHNICARIUM

Miss Theissig is a character from a series of short stories that I began writing in the 1990s and which, after all these years, may finally take their final form. Or maybe not. Who knows.

In the fictional universe of my stories, Miss Theissig would be 108 years old this year, which is not exactly young, so it all ends a little earlier. As a literary character, she was characterized by techno-optimism about the world into which she was born long ago and a desire to invent and create. Like many other girls and boys who did what they could, even though it was probably hard work at times.

Technicarium is something like a museum. Things that have been created, are being created, or are yet to be created.
