This policy explains what the Wasika Studio Chrome extension does with information. It covers the version published on the Chrome Web Store, which works without any Wasika Studio server or account.
Your work stays in your own browser, on your own device. Wasika Studio has no server and no account, and it cannot see your data.
Wasika Studio looks at a web page only when you press one of its buttons or use its right-click menu. It never reads pages in the background.
It never posts, likes, comments or sends messages on any website for you.
It has no advertising, no analytics and no trackers, and it never sells or shares your data.
The only thing that can leave your device is text you choose to send to AI with your own Anthropic API key, after you have seen it and agreed. (\"Open in Ad Library\" opens Meta's own website with the brand name you typed; see section 3.)
Everything you create stays in your browser's extension storage (and, for audit screenshots, the extension's own browser database). That includes projects and brand details, content plans, notes, client follow-ups, audits and their screenshots, quotes, invoices, ad reports you import, your business name, logo and social links, saved ideas and settings. Wasika Studio does not encrypt this storage, so protect your device with a password.
Right-click "Save … to Wasika Studio": saves the text you selected, or the link or page address and title.
"Save this page's link" (side panel): saves the current tab's address and title.
"Take screenshot" / right-click "Screenshot for page audit": captures only the visible part of that one tab at that moment, and stores it with your audit.
"Check tracking on this page": runs a read-only check once on that tab. It reads which marketing pixels and tags the page has installed or loaded (for example Meta, TikTok, OpenAI Ads, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager), their IDs, and the events the page has already recorded. It changes nothing on the page and sends nothing anywhere. The result is shown only to you, and saved only if you choose "Save problems & fixes to audit".
Optional "Allow page access": if you allow it (Chrome asks you once), the tools above work on any site from the side panel without first clicking the toolbar icon. They still run only when you press a button. You can turn this off at any time in Settings → Browser permissions.
Ad reports: when you import a report file you exported from Meta Ads Manager, Wasika Studio reads that file on your device and keeps only the columns you confirm. The file and its figures are not sent to Meta, Wasika Studio or anyone else. Wasika Studio does not connect to your Meta account.
Ad Library: "Open in Ad Library" opens Meta's own public website in a new tab, with the brand name you typed in its address. Meta's privacy policy applies on Meta's site. Wasika Studio does not read that page unless you use one of the tools above on it.
Before you share an audit with someone, check that its screenshots do not show private messages or other people's personal details.
AI features work only if you add your own Anthropic API key in Settings → AI.
Your key: kept in the browser's memory until you close the browser. It is saved on your device only if you tick "Remember", and then it is not encrypted. It is never included in backups or exports, and it is sent only to Anthropic.
Before anything is sent: you see the exact text, can edit it or remove emails and phone numbers, and must agree. The text then goes directly from your browser to Anthropic (api.anthropic.com). No Wasika Studio server is involved.
Your Anthropic account: usage is billed to it. Anthropic's handling of that text is governed by your agreement with Anthropic and its privacy policy: https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy
AI output is shown to you as a draft. Wasika Studio never posts or sends it anywhere.
Follow-up reminders: if you turn them on, Chrome asks for permission to run a periodic check and show notifications. A notification shows only how many follow-ups are due, with no client details.
Page access: see section 3.
You can remove either one in Settings.
It does not sell, rent or share your data, and does not use it for advertising.
It does not collect browsing history, passwords, cookies or form data.
It does not run in the background on the websites you visit.
It does not contact your clients or post on social media.
Wasika Studio's use of information received from Chrome APIs follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
All of these are in Settings → Privacy & Data:
See what is saved: a count of everything stored.
Export: download a backup file of your work.
Delete: items move to Trash for 30 days before permanent deletion. You can permanently delete single items or projects, or "Delete all data on this computer", which also removes screenshots and your AI key.
Uninstall: removing the extension from Chrome deletes its stored data from that browser.
Wasika Studio is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new "Last updated" date. If a future version adds online features (such as an account or cloud sync), this policy will be updated before those features are offered.
