This awesome 1985 wrestling film starring Matthew Modine & Linda Fiorentino was set & filmed in Spokane, WA.
The Rogers High School at 1622 East Wellesley Avenue in Spokane was used for exterior shots and interior hallways shots of Thompson High School. If the lockers are still the same, Louden's was #1393.The front of the school still looks the same as the film. The old gym at this school was also the gym in which the wrestlers practiced & where Louden did the pegboard climb up the wall. However, it has since been torn down. The rear of the school was used for the shot of Shute's bus arriving, but this part of the school has been remodeled & doesn't look the same.
In the opening montage sequence, Louden is seen running in and around downtown Spokane and Riverfront Park. The first bridge he runs across is a footbridge to the west of the Spokane Falls Dam.

The second bridge Louden runs over is the North Howard Street Bridge.
The third bridge Louden runs over is the suspension bridge over Spokane Falls to Canada Island in Riverfront Park. The Post Street Bridge & Monroe Street Bridge are in the background.
He's also seen running over the North Washington Street Bridge, with the Convention Center to the left.
The pedestrian bridge Louden runs over at the start of the movie is on West Main Avenue just east of the AMC theater, looking west with another bridge behind it (by the Nordstrom). The IRS building is in the distance on the left in the shot.
The hotel where Louden works is the historic Ridpath Hotel in Spokane at 515 West Sprague Avenue. Louden is seen multiple times entering from the parking garage entrance on the Sprague Avenue side. I believe the actual interior was used for the film as well, although today the building is undergoing renovation.
The school cafeteria was shot in Ferris High School at 3020 East 37th Avenue.
Kuch paces Louden on his motorcycle as he runs south down Howard Street between West Sprague Avenue toward the railroad bridge over 2nd Avenue.
The diner where Louden & his father take Carla is Ferguson's Cafe at 804 West Garland Avenue. The interior was recently remodeled, so probably looks unlike it did in the film.
Louden's house was at 1509 West Main Avenue in Peaceful Valley, Spokane.
The boy's locker room at Shadle Park High School at 4327 North Ash Street in Spokane was used for the locker room scenes.
The Bigfoot Pub & Eatery at 9115 North Division Street in Spokane was the tavern where Madonna took the stage.
The restaurant where Louden spots Mr. Tanneran eating with Carla is The Onion at 302 Riverside.
After leaving Kuch's house, he and Louden walk north along South Washington at the intersection with West 1st Avenue, with the railroad bridge behind them. They catch the bus between 1st & Sprague.

The stadium where Louden & Kuch confront Shute is Albi Stadium in Spokane. They emerge from the tunnel on the east side, across from the 50-yard line.
In one montage, Louden runs over the Monroe Street Bridge over Spokane Falls.
The scene where Louden drives Carla to see his grandpa was shot on Bigelow Gulch Road east of Spokane.
In one final running montage, Louden runs over the Monroe Street Bridge once again.
The big high school gym where Louden & Shute faced off was at the Mead Senior High School north of Spokane at 302 West Hastings Road.
