Robin Williams stars as Leslie Zevo, the childish son of an eccentric toy maker. When his uncle Leland (Michael Gambon) inherits Zevo Toys and begins mass-manufacturing war machines, Leslie and friends must team up to put an end to his tyrannical rule. This film was mostly shot on sets at 20th Century Fox Studios, but the featured locations in the film are in Washington.
The expansive outdoor scenes in the film were shot in the wheat fields near Spangle and Rosalia, just south of Spokane, WA. Many of the shots were enhanced with digital matte paintings. The shoot took place in June 1991.
