This film features Rebecca De Mornay as a pregnant widow who loses her child then seeks vengeance against the woman (Annabella Sciorra) who indirectly caused her husband's suicide. The film takes place in Seattle but was also filmed in Tacoma and Issaquah, WA.
The Bartels live at 808 North Yakima Avenue in Tacoma - which was the actual street address mentioned in the film, though it was implied they live in Seattle (thanks to Iamnotastalker for the info). The greenhouse which played a prominent role in the film was built by the filmmakers and has been left standing by the owners in the yard.
Claire (Sciorra) works at at the Volunteer Park Conservatory on Capitol Hill, featured in many other films including Disclosure.
Mrs. Mott (De Mornay) receives some bad news at a meeting at the top of Century Square Tower at 1501 4th Avenue in Seattle. This same room was also featured in Class of 1999.
Claire first meets "Peyton" (De Mornay) at the corner of North Yakima & North 8th Street in Tacoma.
While at the dry cleaner, Claire suspects Michael (Matt McCoy) of cheating on her when
Marlene's (Julianne Moore) lighter is found in his coat pocket. This was filmed at the old Auditorium Cleaners (now Bliss Boutique) at 3501 Fremont Avenue North in the Fremont area of Seattle. This same building was seen in a shot in Say Anything, though now the sign is no longer out front.
Park scenes were filmed in Tacoma's Wright Park.
The Federal Express store where Claire discovers she's lost her husband's documents was at the SE corner of 3rd Avenue & Marion Street in downtown Seattle.
The OB/Gyn office where Michael works was filmed at an actual OB/Gyn at Issaquah Medical Center at 450 NW Gilman Boulevard in Issaquah (thanks to Dave).
Marlene finds out Peyton's true identity at the University Library at 5009 Roosevelt Way NE in Seattle.
The Mott's home is at 2502 37th Avenue West in Seattle.
