Lanie (Angelina Jolie), a hard-hitting reporter for a Seattle TV station, interviews a homeless man (Tony Shalhoub) who claims she will die in a few days if he properly predicts the outcome of the upcoming football game. Of course he turns out correct, and now the clock is ticking for Lanie to get her life in order one last time. Although this corny romantic comedy was set in Seattle, many scenes in Vancouver try to pass off as the Emerald City.
