Life Or Something Like It (2002)

Lanie (Angelina Jolie), a hard-hitting reporter for a Seattle TV station, interviews a homeless man (Tony Shalhoub) who claims she will die in a few days if he properly predicts the outcome of the upcoming football game. Of course he turns out correct, and now the clock is ticking for Lanie to get her life in order one last time. Although this corny romantic comedy was set in Seattle, many scenes in Vancouver try to pass off as the Emerald City.

Lanie starts off her daily routine by jogging at Kerry Park on Queen Anne Hill. This is located at approximately 211 West Highland Drive.

The newly-completed Safeco Field (1250 1st Avenue South) is shown as Lanie goes to watch her Mariner boyfriend Cal (Christian Kane).

News station scenes were filmed at KOMO 4 (cleverly disguised as KQMO 4) in Fisher Plaza at 140 4th Avenue North. Real KOMO news anchors were used, though their names were changed.

Lanie goes to watch the fateful Seahawks game at 1933 5th Avenue South.

Pete (Edward Burns) lives at approximately 2301 Prescott Avenue SW in West Seattle.

The transit workers' strike was at the Metro-Ryerson Base at 1220 4th Avenue South.
