The Washington School District voted to make WHS a community school serving the entire township; therefore, the new name is Washington Community High School (WCHS).
The Petri Grocery and the Model Grocery, as well as the upstairs businesses of the Dr. R.T. McClung dental office and R.W. Vogelsang's insurance office, burned. Henry Esser would rebuild a brick structure at the location that we would know as 108-110 North Main Street.
