Homage

Warsaw was home to two great figures: prof. Elżbieta Siarkiewicz (who recently died in 2018), one of Poland's first Mesoamericanists, whose one of the major research interest was Maya archaeoastronomy and archaeoastronomist and historian of astronomy Robert Sadowski (1947-2010), who conducted archaeoastronomical research and was as well succesful translator, who delivered to the Polish audience number of important books on Maya, Nahua and Archaeoastronomy.
