The Adventure Continues

There are over16,000 SCOUTS in New Zealand. Scouts equip young people aged 5 to 26 with life skills of problem-solving, teamwork, citizenship, and healthy living; and provide them with access to a large range of outdoor activities including specialised caving, photography, flying, canoe and snow schools.

The Warkworth Scout Group (which is part of the Mahurangi Zone) has around 60 youth members involved in Keas, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers. We believe in the value of the work we do, challenging young New Zealanders to be active, extra-ordinary and adventurous. If you would like to join us then please give one of our leaders a ring.

Our older Scouts and Venturers get the opportunity to attend Scout Schools around NZ (photography, snow, mountaineering, caving, canoe, flying and conservation). Scouts can also attend NZ, Australian and World Jamboree while Venturers can also attend NZ and Australian Ventures.

So if you enjoy learning new life skills, camping, outdoor fun, cooking or just meeting other youth from Warkworth and around NZ then come along and join the adventure.

We meet at our Den in Shoesmith Domain (next to the Warkworth tennis courts) in Warkworth during the School term.
