"Since moving back to Toronto from Los Angeles six years ago, I have relied on my neighbour and friend Felicia Seto-Lau for her connectedness to our community. It was Felicia who first told me about the Pumpkin Parade, about the neighbourhood's Mommy Groups and even great coffee spots. Actually, walking down Lake Shore with Felicia for a 'quick coffee' is usually a long affair - because she knows everybody. The older folks in our condo building, the other parents at not just our school but at 2nd Street and John English. She knows the small business owners in the community and she'll stop to chat and listen to them all of these people, because Felicia cares about people. Felicia is a great listener and a fantastic problem solver with a deep sense of compassion and commitment. School Trustees are expected to advocate for the interests of their constituencies and I have no doubts about Felicia's desire to do that and to succeed for all of us. Our families and kids are truly in the best hands with Felicia Seto-Lau."
