Taihua gave a talk at CAFOE 2022 and was awarded “Outstanding Young Scholars at the Frontiers of Engineering in China” by Chinese Academy of Engineering
During July 19-21, the 2022 China-America Frontiers of Engineering symposium (CAFOE) jointly hosted by the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) and the US National Academy of Engineering (NAE) was held in Beijing, China and Irvine, California. Eight early-career scholars from China and eight early-career scholars from America were selected as speakers to share their views on the cutting edge of engineering technology. Dr. Taihua Wang gave a talk titled "Implications of Permafrost Thawing on Water Sustainability in the Tibetan Plateau" in the session "Water Sustainability", and was awarded the "Outstanding Young Scholars at the Frontiers of Engineering in China" by the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
