Taihua Wang

Dr. Taihua Wang is currently an assistant research fellow at the Institute of Hydrology and Water Resources, Department of Hydraulic Engineering, Tsinghua University. His research focuses on the cryospheric and hydrological response to climate change over the Tibetan Plateau and other cold regions. Using data-driven methods and process-based models, he attempts to reveal the historical and future permafrost degradation and assess its effects on the hydrological cycle and regional carbon budget. He has published a series of research papers at journals including Science Advances and Science Bulletin, and has been invited as a reviewer for journals including Water Resources Research and Journal of Hydrology.
