Wandin Players is a community drama group based in Wandin North. Whether you're interested in acting, directing, or crew, we warmly welcome people of all experience levels to join us.

Being part of a community drama group is a wonderful pastime to add to your week, offering the perfect opportunity to meet new people, socialise, and become part of a supportive and creative community. Whether you're looking to explore your passion for theatre or simply enjoy a fun, interactive activity, there’s a place for you here!

Wandin Players is also ideal for those returning to theatre or beginners who want to gain experience without the pressure and expectations of more professional theatres. 

We meet Wednesdays at 7pm to rehearse for our upcoming productions and to enjoy some time socialising. After rehearsals, we gather for a delightful social supper, offering everyone the chance to relax and catch up. Our productions feature One-Act Melodramatic and Comedic Plays, bringing plenty of fun and laughter to the community!

During our performances, we also include music and offer opportunities for our members to showcase their talents, such as singing a song.

At Wandin Players, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to participate, so there are no traditional auditions—just come along and get involved! Casting is done through group auditions during our script read-through nights at the beginning or the season. 

New members are always welcome, and we encourage you to join us for a rehearsal to learn more about our group.
