This Privacy Policy and Terms of Use ("Policy") governs your use of Wanderly AI (the "App"), an AI-first travel planning and companion application. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the terms described below.
Wanderly AI provides travel-planning features, specifically AI-generated trip itineraries, destination exploration, and a personal travel journal, with safety and data-handling measures that apply to all users of the App.
2.1 Managing AI Content Itineraries, destination suggestions, and other content generated by the App's AI features are produced automatically based on your input (e.g., destination, dates, interests). We take reasonable steps to filter suggestions that are unsafe, unlawful, or otherwise inappropriate, in line with Google Play policies. AI-generated details (opening hours, prices, addresses, availability) are suggestions only and may be inaccurate or outdated — always verify important details independently before you travel.
2.2 Input and Output Control The App may automatically block prompts or inputs that attempt to generate harmful, hateful, or otherwise prohibited content. We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to accounts that attempt to abuse or exploit the App's AI features.
By using Wanderly AI, you agree that you will not:
Use the App to create or share hateful, fraudulent, or misleading content;
Use the App in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation;
Attempt to abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the App's systems or AI services;
Hold us responsible for travel decisions made based on AI-generated content — you remain solely accountable for verifying and acting on any information the App provides.
We are not responsible for any loss, expense, or inconvenience arising from your intentional misuse of the App or from decisions made solely on the basis of AI-generated suggestions. Our AI features may occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, or unintended results (for example, incorrect addresses, prices, or opening hours). If you notice inaccurate or inappropriate content, please report it to us rather than relying on or redistributing it.
Trips, itineraries, journal entries, and photos you create in the App remain yours. AI-generated itinerary text and suggestions are provided for your personal, non-commercial travel-planning use. Commercial use or redistribution of AI-generated content must comply with applicable intellectual-property laws and the terms of the underlying AI providers.

7.1 Children Under 13 Wanderly AI is not directed at children. We do not knowingly request, collect, use, or share personally identifiable information (PII) from users under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
7.2 Sensitive Data We do not access your contacts, SMS/call logs, or device GPS location, and we do not read your private messages on other apps. Address and destination search is performed by sending your typed search text to public, third-party mapping services (OpenStreetMap Nominatim and OSRM) to return coordinates and driving routes — no persistent device location tracking is used.
7.3 Information We Collect
Account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo to create and secure your account.
Content you create: trips, itineraries, journal entries, notes, and photos you add to the App.
Diagnostic data: crash reports and basic technical information (device type, OS version, app version) collected automatically via Firebase Crashlytics to help us fix bugs. This data is not linked to advertising and is not used for ad targeting.
Search queries: destination and address text you search for, sent to OpenStreetMap/OSRM as described in 7.2.

7.5 How We Store and Protect Your Data Authentication tokens are stored using encrypted, OS-level secure storage on your device. Your trip and account data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections to our backend and stored securely. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data (trips, journal entries, profile information) at any time by contacting us at doanquanghuy.ptit@gmail.com with the email address associated with your account. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe.
This Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or to comply with Google Play requirements. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
