We are a chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America, one of America’s oldest and most successful conservation organizations . Chartered in 1965, and a member of the Illinois Division of the IWLA, the Walter Sherry Memorial Chapter maintains a campground for our members. Our grounds offer picnic facilities, fishing, campgrounds, a boat ramp, and a club house for member and visitor use.

Our Chapter strives to develop a love for the outdoors. We are proud to support our Boy Scouts group and will soon be hosting a luncheon and fishing outing for Trinity adults in the area. We also do a roadside cleanup for the local area 4 times a year.
