Zaya's transfer history prior to June 17th, 2021 is unknown to me.
This walrus is a circus performer, and travels to various venues across several different countries -- as such, it is extremely likely that her transfer history as presented here is incomplete.
Though an exact date of transfer is not currently known, this individual was first sighted at the Anapa Dolphinarium on Bolshoy Utrish via content uploaded on April 29th, 2024.
Sources state that Toma was transferred to the Moscow Zoo "four weeks" prior to July 8th, when she completed quarantine and was introduced to the facility's existing herd in their outdoor habitat.
