In 2009 this park placed an order to purchase walrus pups captured in Russia at a price around 200,000 to 350,000 rubles per head (about $6,600 to $11,550 USD). The park never received the animals, and instead debuted their Polar Adventure habitat in 2012 with Miru, a long-term captive animal, and Rock, a captive-born animal.
