The Brookfield Zoo no longer maintains a walrus exhibit, and to my knowledge there are no current plans to house them in the future.
Four walruses, two males and two females, were captured for this facility in 1940. The walruses were named after various people by their captor, Carl Dreutzer; "Major George Fitzgerald Lee" and "Wright Patterson" (the two males), with "Mary Hastings Bradley" and "Marietta" (the two females). "Wright Patterson" did not survive the voyage.
