Wallspark ("Wallspark," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Wallspark application (the "App") does and does not handle, how the App's AI wallpaper generation works, and the choices and rights available to you.

Wallspark is designed to be privacy-first: there are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and no advertising identifiers. The App runs as a pure client on your device and talks only to our AI provider to generate the images you ask for.

By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Summary

• We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information.

• We do not require an account and do not ask for your name, email, or phone number to use the App.

• The text prompts you enter are sent to our AI provider (Replicate) only to generate your wallpaper, and are not retained by us.

• Your generated wallpapers, history, and settings are stored only on your device.

• You can erase everything instantly with Settings → Clear all data.

Information We Do Not Collect

We have intentionally built the App so that it does not collect personal data. Specifically, the App does not:

• Require or create user accounts, profiles, or logins.

• Collect your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, or date of birth.

• Use third-party analytics, crash-reporting, attribution, or advertising SDKs.

• Use cookies, advertising identifiers (IDFA), or cross-app/cross-site tracking.

• Access your contacts, location, microphone, calendar, or health data.

• Build advertising or marketing profiles about you.

Because we do not maintain servers that store your content or identity, we do not hold a personal profile that could be sold or shared.

Information You Provide

The only information you actively provide is the text prompt you type to describe the wallpaper you want, along with the generation options you choose (such as the target device size, aspect ratio, art style, and output resolution). This information is used solely to generate your image, as described in "How AI Wallpaper Generation Works" below.

Please avoid including personal, sensitive, or confidential information in your prompts, since prompts are transmitted to our AI provider to fulfill your request.

How AI Wallpaper Generation Works

When you tap Generate, the App sends your text prompt and the selected generation options directly from your device to Replicate, Inc. ("Replicate"), our third-party AI hosting provider. Replicate runs the image-generation model (OpenAI's gpt-image-2) and returns a generated image to your device.

In this process:

• The request travels over an encrypted HTTPS connection.

• We do not operate an intermediary server, and we do not log, store, or retain your prompts or generated images on any server controlled by us.

• The generated image is delivered back to your device, where the App may enhance and resize it on-device to your chosen resolution (2K, 4K, or 8K).

• Replicate's handling of requests is governed by Replicate's own privacy policy, available at https://replicate.com/privacy. We encourage you to review it to understand how Replicate processes data it receives.

We share prompt text and generation options with Replicate only to the extent necessary to produce the wallpaper you requested. We do not share this information with any other third party.

Shared Service Credentials

The App connects to Replicate using a shared API credential embedded in the App by the developer. You are not asked to create or supply your own API key, and no payment information is collected by the App. This credential is used only to authorize wallpaper-generation requests with Replicate.

On-Device Storage

The wallpapers you generate, your generation history, and your app preferences (such as appearance and "save to Photos") are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage frameworks. This data:

• Remains on your device (and within your personal iCloud/device backups if you have those enabled through iOS).

• Is not transmitted to us.

• Can be deleted by you at any time.

If you enable "Save outputs to Photos," generated images you choose to save are written to your device's Photos library under your control and are subject to Apple's Photos permissions.

Your Choices and Controls

You remain in control of your data at all times:

• Clear all data: Go to Settings → Clear all data to immediately and permanently delete the App's stored wallpapers, history, caches, and preferences from your device.

• Photos permission: You can grant or revoke the App's access to your Photos library at any time in the iOS/iPadOS/macOS system Settings.

• Uninstall: Deleting the App removes its locally stored data from your device.

Data Retention

We do not retain your prompts or generated images on our servers, because we do not operate content servers. Data created by the App is retained on your device until you delete it (via "Clear all data," by removing individual items, or by uninstalling the App). Any retention by Replicate of data it receives is governed by Replicate's privacy policy.

Security

All communication between the App and Replicate occurs over encrypted HTTPS (TLS). Because your content and history are stored locally, your device's own security protections (passcode, Face ID/Touch ID, device encryption) are an important part of keeping your data safe. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we design the App to minimize the data exposed in the first place.

Children's Privacy

The App is rated 12+ and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App does not collect personal information from any user, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

International Users and Data Transfers

The App is offered to users in the United States, Europe, and other regions. When you generate a wallpaper, your prompt is transmitted to Replicate, which may process it on servers located in the United States or other countries. By using the App, you understand that your prompt may be processed in a country that may have data-protection laws different from those in your country of residence.

Your Rights Under GDPR (EEA/UK)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability.

Because the App does not collect or store personal data about you on our systems, there is generally no personal profile for us to access, correct, or export. You can exercise erasure directly at any time using "Clear all data" or by uninstalling the App. For any questions about your rights, contact us at the address below.

Your Rights Under CCPA/CPRA (California)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you rights to know what personal information is collected, to delete personal information, to correct inaccurate personal information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.

We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not collect personal information through the App. You will never be discriminated against for exercising any of your privacy rights.

Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following third party to provide its core functionality:

• Replicate, Inc. — AI model hosting that generates images from your prompt. Privacy policy: https://replicate.com/privacy.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App or to legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and post the revised policy here. Your continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
