Welcome to Wallist.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") and Privacy Policy govern and explant your use of the Wallist mobile application ("Wallist", "the App", "we", "us", or "our").
By installing, accessing, or using Wallist, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.
1. Location Data
Wallist collects and uses your device's location data for the following purposes:
Location-Based Wallpaper Profiles (Geofencing): When you create a Wallpaper Profile with a location condition, the app uses your device's precise and background location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION) to detect when you enter or leave a designated geographic area (geofence). This allows the app to automatically switch your wallpaper when you arrive at or depart from places such as home, work, or any custom location you define.
Full-Screen Weather Effects: The app uses your approximate or precise location (ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION, ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION) to fetch real-time local weather conditions from a weather data provider. This data is used solely to render matching full-screen animated weather effects on your wallpaper (e.g., rain, sunshine, snow).
Data Retention & Sharing: Your location data is processed locally on your device for geofence detection. Weather lookups are sent to a weather API provider solely to retrieve current conditions and are not stored, sold, or shared with any third party for advertising or profiling purposes.
User Control: Location-based features are entirely optional. You can create and use Wallpaper Profiles without any location condition. You may revoke location permissions at any time via your device's system settings, which will disable location-dependent features.
Wallist may process selected images and videos locally on your device in order to provide wallpaper-related functionality.
Depending on the features you use, Wallist may create temporary files, processed images, cached data, thumbnails, masks, depth information, or other generated data required to provide those features.
You remain responsible for maintaining backups of your original files.
Wallist is not responsible for the loss, corruption, deletion, or unavailability of files stored on your device resulting from:
Device failure;
Operating system behavior;
Storage failure;
User actions;
Third-party applications;
Manufacturer-specific Android behavior; or
Circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Wallist may access images and videos that you explicitly select or authorize the App to use.
You retain all rights to the images, videos, and other content stored on your device.
Wallist does not claim ownership of your personal content.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights, permissions, or licenses to use any image, video, or other content that you select for use with Wallist.
You must not use Wallist to facilitate or participate in activities that infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights of another person or entity.
Wallist is an Android wallpaper application that allows users to:
Select images stored on their device and use them as wallpapers.
Automatically rotate wallpapers according to user-defined settings.
Apply wallpapers to the Home Screen and/or Lock Screen where supported by the Android operating system.
Use supported video wallpapers.
Use Parallax 3D and other visual effects where available.
Configure wallpaper automation and related settings.
Access premium features through an optional subscription.
Some features may depend on the capabilities, permissions, and restrictions of the Android operating system or the device manufacturer.
You may use Wallist only if you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms under the laws applicable to you.
If you are a minor, you should use Wallist only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Wallist complies with the laws applicable to you.
Wallpaper behavior may vary between devices and Android versions.
Some Android devices or manufacturers may impose restrictions on:
Lock screen wallpapers;
Home screen wallpapers;
Live wallpapers;
Background processes;
Battery optimization;
Automatic wallpaper changes;
Wallpaper services; or
Other system-level functionality.
Wallist does not guarantee that every feature will operate identically on every Android device.
Some Wallist features, including video wallpapers, Parallax 3D, animations, and automated wallpaper processing, may consume additional battery, memory, GPU, CPU, or other device resources.
Wallist may provide battery-saving mechanisms intended to reduce resource usage, but we do not guarantee a specific level of battery consumption or device performance.
You are responsible for choosing settings appropriate for your device.
Wallist may provide both free and premium functionality.
Free functionality may be subject to limitations, advertisements, or other restrictions.
Premium functionality may include, depending on the current version of the App:
Unlimited wallpaper images;
Video wallpapers;
Removal of advertisements;
Advanced wallpaper functionality;
Other premium features identified in the App.
The specific features included with a Premium subscription may change as Wallist evolves, provided that such changes comply with applicable law and Google Play requirements.
Wallist may offer Premium subscriptions through Google Play.
Available subscription plans, prices, billing periods, introductory offers, and trial periods are displayed in the App and/or Google Play at the time of purchase.
For example, Wallist may offer monthly and annual subscription plans.
The actual price charged to you is the price displayed by Google Play at the time of purchase and may vary by country, currency, applicable taxes, promotions, or other factors.
Unless cancelled, a subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period.
You will be charged through your Google Play payment method according to the applicable Google Play subscription terms.
You must cancel your subscription before the next renewal date if you do not want it to renew.
Google Play requires subscription offers to clearly disclose their price, billing frequency, automatic-renewal terms, and cancellation information.
Wallist may offer a free trial or introductory offer for eligible users.
Eligibility, duration, and availability of a trial are determined by the applicable offer configured through Google Play.
When a free trial ends, the subscription may automatically convert into a paid subscription unless cancelled before the end of the trial period.
You should review the terms displayed on the Google Play purchase screen before confirming a subscription.
Google Play's current terms state that trial subscriptions can convert to paid subscriptions after the trial period unless cancelled, subject to the applicable offer and terms.
You may cancel your Wallist subscription through Google Play.
Cancelling a subscription generally prevents future renewals but does not necessarily terminate access immediately. Unless otherwise required by applicable law or Google Play's policies, you generally retain Premium access until the end of the current billing period.
Wallist does not control Google Play's subscription management system.
You can manage subscriptions through Google Play's subscription management interface. Google Play specifically requires apps offering subscriptions to provide users with an accessible way to manage or cancel them.
Payments for Wallist Premium subscriptions are processed through Google Play.
Wallist does not directly receive or store your payment card, bank account, or other payment credentials used by Google Play.
Refunds are handled according to applicable Google Play policies and applicable law.
In certain circumstances, Wallist may be able to assist with purchase-related issues, but we do not guarantee that a refund will be granted.
Google Play's current terms provide that subscription cancellation generally applies to the next billing period, subject to its refund policy and applicable law.
The free version of Wallist may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising services.
Advertisements may be displayed in certain areas of the App and may vary over time.
Premium users may receive an ad-free experience where this benefit is included in their current Premium plan.
The availability and behavior of advertisements may depend on factors including user consent, region, advertising demand, and third-party advertising policies.
Wallist may use third-party services to provide certain functionality, including but not limited to:
Google Play services;
Google Play Billing;
Google Mobile Ads;
Google User Messaging Platform;
Android system services; and
Other third-party services that may be introduced in future versions.
Your use of third-party services may also be subject to the terms and policies of those providers.
Wallist, including its software, design, branding, user interface, logos, graphics, original content, and other materials provided by us, is owned by or licensed to the developer of Wallist and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law, you may not:
Copy Wallist;
Modify or redistribute Wallist;
Reverse engineer Wallist except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
Sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Wallist;
Remove proprietary notices; or
Use Wallist's branding without permission.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of Wallist or any intellectual property rights to you.
You agree not to use Wallist to:
Violate applicable laws or regulations;
Infringe another person's intellectual property or privacy rights;
Distribute malware or malicious software;
Interfere with or disrupt the operation of Wallist;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Wallist or its systems;
Circumvent technical restrictions intended to enforce paid features;
Abuse, manipulate, or exploit purchase, subscription, or promotional systems; or
Use Wallist for purposes that are prohibited by applicable Google Play policies.
We may modify, improve, add, remove, or discontinue features of Wallist from time to time.
Changes may include:
New features;
Performance improvements;
Security updates;
Compatibility updates;
Changes to free or premium functionality;
Changes to advertising behavior; and
Changes required by Android, Google Play, or applicable law.
If a material change negatively affects a paid subscription benefit, we will take reasonable steps to comply with applicable law and applicable Google Play requirements.
We aim to keep Wallist functional and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the App will always be available or error-free.
Wallist may become temporarily unavailable due to:
Maintenance;
Software updates;
Android or Google Play changes;
Device-specific issues;
Network failures;
Third-party service failures; or
Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wallist is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not guarantee that:
Wallist will work on every Android device;
Every feature will remain available indefinitely;
Wallpaper behavior will be identical across devices;
Parallax or video effects will produce identical results on every device;
Battery consumption will remain within a specific range; or
The App will always operate without interruption or errors.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Wallist.
This includes, where legally permitted, damages resulting from:
Loss of data;
Device malfunction;
Battery consumption;
Loss of files;
Service interruption;
Compatibility issues; or
Third-party service failures.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
You may stop using Wallist at any time by uninstalling the App.
We may restrict or terminate access to certain features if reasonably necessary to:
Prevent abuse;
Address security issues;
Comply with applicable law;
Comply with Google Play requirements; or
Protect Wallist, its users, or third parties.
Termination of your use of the App does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through Google Play. You must manage or cancel that subscription through Google Play.
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When we make material changes, we may provide notice through the App or another reasonable method.
The updated Terms will include a new Last Updated date.
Your continued use of Wallist after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to the developer and the user's jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive consumers of mandatory rights or protections granted by the laws applicable to them.
End of Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
