Wallet Loop (hereafter referred to as "the App") is a fully offline expense tracking application designed with your privacy as a top priority. This Privacy Policy is intended to clearly explain how your information is handled when you use the App. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Data Collection
Wallet Loop collects no personal data, usage data, device information, or any other information from its users. We believe that your financial records belong to you and you alone.
No account or registration – The App does not require any form of user account, login, password, or sign-up process. We have no way of identifying you as an individual user.
No internet access – The App does not request or utilize any internet permissions. It cannot send, receive, or sync any data over a network, whether wired or wireless.
No analytics – We do not use any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, performance monitors, or tracking frameworks. We do not measure how you use the App, nor do we collect any statistics about your sessions.
No third-party services – No third-party SDKs, APIs, advertising networks, or cloud services are integrated into the App. All functionality is self-contained within the application itself.
2. Local Data Storage
All data you enter into Wallet Loop—including but not limited to transaction amounts, categories, dates, notes, and any custom fields—is stored exclusively and locally on your physical device (internal storage or local database).
This data never leaves your device under any circumstances.
We (the developer) have no technical means to access, view, retrieve, or backup your data remotely.
Your data is not stored on any external servers, cloud platforms, or third-party infrastructure.
The App does not use iCloud, Google Drive, or any other cloud synchronization service.
3. Data Export
Wallet Loop offers a CSV (Comma-Separated Values) export feature for your convenience, allowing you to extract your transaction history for personal use, backup, or analysis in spreadsheet software.
When you choose to export your data, the CSV file is generated and written locally to your device's storage.
After the file is created, the system share sheet (native to your operating system) is opened, giving you full control over what to do next.
Any further sharing, sending, uploading, or printing of this file is entirely controlled by you and your device's operating system. We are not involved in, nor do we have visibility into, any subsequent actions you take with the exported file.
4. Data Deletion
You have complete control over your data at all times.
You can delete all app data at any moment by using the "Delete All Data" option located in the App's Settings screen.
When you confirm this action, all locally stored information—including all transactions, categories, and preferences—is permanently and irreversibly removed from your device.
Please note that this deletion is final and cannot be undone. We recommend exporting a backup via CSV before performing this action if you wish to retain your data.
5. Children's Privacy
Wallet Loop does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
Since all data remains solely on the user's device and is never transmitted, there is no risk of unintentional data exposure.
We do not knowingly target or market to children, and we do not use any behavioral tracking or profiling.
Parents and guardians can be assured that the App poses no privacy risks to young users.
6. Security
While the App does not transmit your data over the internet, we take local security seriously.
We rely on the built-in security mechanisms of your device's operating system (such as file system permissions and app sandboxing) to protect your locally stored data.
We recommend that you keep your device's operating system updated and use device-level protections such as screen locks or biometric authentication to further safeguard your information.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, legal requirements, or operational practices.
Any changes will be indicated by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Since the App has no network access, we cannot notify you directly within the App. Therefore, we encourage you to review this page periodically for any updates.
Continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
