Walla Walla suspect freed from jail.
I read from Newsbreak that a suspect from Walla Walla was freed from jail after breaking the officer's hand and spitting on another. The police officer suffered a broken hand, and another was treated for being a spat; the suspect was released from custody without bail. Based on the report, the Walla Walla Police Department responded to a suspicious male pushing a motorcycle at around 4:45 P.M. on June 14, 2022, at the 500 – block of E Pine St. When the officers approached the suspect, officers were allegedly verbally berated by him.
