WALL East or West (“WALL”, “the app”, “we”) is an independent mobile app that helps users discover whether they are standing in East Berlin or West Berlin, based on their current location and the historical path of the Berlin Wall.
This Privacy Policy explains how WALL handles user information.
WALL does not collect, store, sell, or share personal data.
The app does not require an account, does not ask users to sign in, and does not create user profiles.
WALL asks for access to your location only to calculate whether you are currently in East Berlin or West Berlin according to the historical Berlin Wall path.
Your location is used on your device for the app experience. WALL does not store your location, does not send it to a WALL server, and does not use it for advertising or tracking.
You can enable or disable location access at any time in your device settings.
WALL uses Apple platform services, such as location services and map display features, to provide the app experience. These services are provided by Apple and may be subject to Apple’s own privacy practices.
WALL includes optional in-app purchases that allow users to support the independent project.
Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. WALL does not receive or store your payment card details, Apple Account payment information, or billing information.
WALL does not use advertising tracking.
WALL does not use third-party analytics tools to track users across apps or websites.
WALL is not designed to collect personal data from children. Since WALL does not collect personal data, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app changes or if legal requirements change. Any update will be published on this page with a new effective date.
