I can't say for sure everyone. I mean I've seen a lot of weird, unexplainable shit from our kind over the years - the Barlowe Manor Residents being one of the most prolific. Host Surfacing is tricky. We've already seen from The Enforcer that it can be constant, reoccurring, and difficult to stop, even for decades. There are countless other examples. I remember that for a while there, Mayor Brown was hearing his host's voice in his head. So could Adam have permanently surfaced with his powers intact? Yeah. I doubt it though- surfacing is very unpredictable and Adam staying in this state for almost 10 years is unlikely. I think it's more likely that whichever one of our kin we gave to Adam, it was faulty. Again, just speculation. But that's my medical opinion.
