01-26-20: Object 1929 Report 1

Hello all,

As I previously stated, we have started an investigation of Object 1929 and its relation to Object 1899. 2 days ago, we sent a previously retired probe into Object 1929's territory to gather further energy readings and attempt to gain visual contact with Object 1929. While this is not the first time the Observatory has attempted this, our technology has improved immensely and we are looking for more specific information than before.

From this initial probe, we have determined that Object 1929 communicates with Object 1899 through via radioactive energy signals. They appear to be fainter versions of the signals emitted by Object 1899 on 10/23/19. Dr. Ilman has suggested that they utilize these to communicate with each other, similar to the 'visions' experienced by a few other Hosted being communications from Object 1899.

Besides this, Object 1929 is fiercely territorial. While we did know this before, there has been no attempt at contact since 1989 and we did not know how it would react. However, it is nearly impossible to track and destroyed the probe only 4 minutes and 23 seconds after entry into its territory.

On a positive note, the probe was able to broadcast its camera feed until the moment of destruction, meaning that we were able to briefly see Object 1929 unlike ever before. It is just like the story.

We will continue to study Object 1929. It may be the only way to help these unwilling victims of Object 1899's 'visions'.
