The Walker Creek Library is located on Main Street. The lead librarian is Tanya Reneger. It was extremely well funded for several decades. This was for the purpose of storing information and creating physical archives there. However, with modern technology, it has been replaced by this website. The library consists of three main wings, Fiction, Non-Fiction, and Archives. The Archives wing has been mostly cleared out as our media is being converted digitally. Much of it is available now on our new online Media Archive.
There is a computer lab, several meeting rooms, and more. Events such as Children's Reading Day take place here, as well as dozens of clubs that meet frequently.
