Host Degradation is a Host-only illness which occurs when a Host stays in forms other than their Host body for more than 9 consecutive days. It begins slowly at first but can advance rapidly, especially if Form Stagnation occurs alongside it. While Host Degradation can be cured on its own, it is incurable if Form Stagnation also takes effect. Hosts that undergo Host Degradation have the cells of their body break down over time. They will eventually be locked into their form as it slowly degrades, as they become mutated and deformed. Mental capabilities degrade alongside the body. Advanced Host Degradation has a 90% mortality rate. The 10% that survive should not be engaged with or visited under any circumstances.
