PUBLIC TRANSPORT:

CAR PARKING: Car Parks at Porthor (National Trust) and a few spaces at Porth Colmon

We set off early and arrived at Porth Cplmon at around 9am. Luckily bagging one of the few car parking spaces at the end of the lane. We soon began our walk along the coast path to Whistling Sands (Traeth Porthor), passing many coves, with a few ups and downs along the way, the path was pretty straightforward. A little narrow and uneven in places. Arriving at Whistling Sands we take the beach walk option and finish at the cafe at the far end of the beach. A coffee and ice cream stop and then a sunbathe on the beach before we made the walk back.

  • HISTORY POINTS: Whiskey Shipwreck at Porth Colmon
