WakePilot – Smart Alarm (“WakePilot,” “the app,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is an Android alarm and time-management application developed by B. K. J. Rangana Fernando.
This Privacy Policy explains what information WakePilot accesses, how that information is used, how third-party services may process information, and the choices available to users.
WakePilot allows users to create and manage information such as:
Alarms and quick alarms
Alarm labels, times, recurrence schedules, and selected sounds
Alarm groups and pause settings
Wake Sequences and their stages
Shift Rotation plans
Snooze, postpone, verification, and dismissal settings
Alarm activity and upcoming occurrence information
App preferences and configuration settings
This information is primarily stored locally on the user’s device.
WakePilot does not require users to create an account and does not operate a developer-controlled server for storing alarm schedules or personal profiles.
With the user’s permission, WakePilot may read calendar events to display relevant event information during alarm verification or other alarm-related features.
Calendar information may include event titles, dates, times, and whether an event is an all-day event.
Calendar access is used only to provide the requested calendar-related functionality. WakePilot does not intentionally upload calendar event names, descriptions, attendees, or other calendar content to the developer’s servers.
Users may deny or revoke calendar permission through their Android device settings. The app’s basic alarm features can continue to operate without calendar access, although calendar-related features will not be available.
WakePilot may access the device’s current call state when required to adjust alarm behavior during an active phone call, such as using vibration instead of normal alarm audio.
WakePilot does not:
Record phone calls
Listen to call audio
Read call conversations
Collect the phone numbers of callers through this feature
Call-state information is used only to control how an alarm behaves during a call.
WakePilot may request permissions or system access required for alarm functionality, including:
Notifications
Exact alarm scheduling
Full-screen alarm display
Displaying alarm controls over other apps
Vibration
Alarm audio and volume control
Showing alarm interfaces on the lock screen
Preventing the device from sleeping while an alarm is active
Restarting scheduled alarms after the device is restarted
These permissions and system capabilities are used only to schedule, display, sound, test, verify, postpone, snooze, control, or dismiss alarms.
Users may manage these permissions through Android device settings. Disabling certain permissions may prevent alarms from appearing or operating correctly.
WakePilot displays advertisements provided through Google AdMob.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects and shares certain information for advertising, analytics, service delivery, security, and fraud-prevention purposes. Depending on the device, region, SDK configuration, and user settings, this information may include:
The device’s IP address, which may be used to estimate general location
App launches, taps, ad views, video views, and other app interactions
Diagnostic and performance information, such as app launch time, hang rate, and energy usage
Android advertising identifiers
App-set identifiers
Other applicable device or account identifiers
Google states that data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted while being transmitted using Transport Layer Security.
Users may be able to manage advertising personalization, reset their advertising identifier, or delete their advertising identifier through Android or Google account settings.
WakePilot does not sell users’ personal or sensitive information.
WakePilot does not intentionally send alarm labels, alarm schedules, Wake Sequence details, Shift Rotation plans, or calendar-event content to Google AdMob. (Google for Developers)
WakePilot may offer optional digital purchases through Google Play, including:
Removing advertisements
Supporting WakePilot’s development
Other optional premium products or benefits
Purchases are processed through Google Play Billing.
WakePilot does not directly receive or store users’ complete credit-card, debit-card, banking, or other payment details.
The app may receive limited purchase-related information from Google Play, such as:
The product purchased
Purchase status
Purchase confirmation information
Information required to activate or restore a purchased benefit
Purchases are optional. Users do not need to create a WakePilot account to access the app’s normal alarm features.
WakePilot may use the following third-party or platform services:
Google AdMob
Google Play Billing
Google Play services
Android operating-system services
These providers may collect or process information according to their own privacy policies, service terms, and technical requirements.
WakePilot does not intentionally share locally stored alarm schedules, alarm labels, Wake Sequence details, Shift Rotation plans, or calendar-event content with advertising providers.
However, third-party SDKs may independently collect technical, diagnostic, interaction, advertising, or device information as described in this Privacy Policy.
Locally stored WakePilot data is protected through Android’s application sandbox and the security features provided by the user’s device.
Information transmitted by third-party services is protected according to those providers’ security practices.
Reasonable measures are used to protect information. However, no electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are encouraged to protect their devices with suitable security measures, such as a screen lock, PIN, password, or biometric authentication.
Alarm information, schedules, plans, activity records, and app preferences stored locally remain on the device until the user:
Deletes an alarm, group, plan, sequence, or activity record
Clears WakePilot’s app data
Resets the app
Uninstalls WakePilot
WakePilot does not provide user accounts, so there is no separate WakePilot online account to delete.
Information processed independently by Google AdMob, Google Play Billing, Google Play services, or other Google services is retained and deleted according to Google’s policies and the user’s Google account or device settings.
Users can:
Deny or revoke optional permissions
Disable calendar access
Manage notification and alarm permissions
Delete alarms, groups, plans, Wake Sequences, and activity records
Clear WakePilot’s locally stored data through Android settings
Uninstall the app
Manage advertising preferences through Android or Google settings
Choose not to make optional purchases
Some app functionality may be unavailable or may not operate correctly when required permissions are disabled.
WakePilot is a general-purpose alarm and time-management utility. It is not specifically designed for or directed toward children under the age of 13.
WakePilot does not require users to provide names, email addresses, account credentials, dates of birth, or other directly identifying personal information to use the app.
We do not knowingly request or intentionally collect personal information directly from children under 13.
A parent or guardian who believes that a child has provided personal information through WakePilot may contact the developer using the email address below.
WakePilot may be made available in multiple countries.
Information processed by Google or other third-party services may be processed in countries other than the user’s country of residence, according to those providers’ privacy policies and legal requirements.

Third-party SDKs change
Legal or Google Play requirements change
