Of course, the face will not be shown; however, before becoming a VTuber, Wakana originally went under a different name and had a completely different face! Wakana went by the name Willow or Its_Me_Willow as she streamed herself for years before vtubing as a fleshtuber. She has incorporated this into her 1.2 Wakana Tsukiko Lore as an identity she made before revealing her true self to the internet as a cambion, similar to how Vtubing can bring anonymity to the IRL world. 

The drawing beside similar to what she looks like IRL, but of course, that will not be shared on this website! Wakana has always had issues with how others treated her do to either her looks or how kind she treats others, so she wanted some way to take it out of the equation. She also loved the passion of her oshis and idols in the Vtubeing sphere and wanted to make content similar to which led her down this path!

This was the original concept of Wakana Tsukiko, and since then, we've done almost a full turnaround on look and design-wise! 

Originally, she was a human who died and went to heaven; however, she was framed for many sins committed by another angel's actions. God tested her, but believed in the other angel instead of her, even when she pleaded that she wasn't guilty. Once she was sent to hell, it was decided that she would work her way to the top to become what she was said to be, "God's worst nightmare". She ends up marrying the second circle of hell's daemon. 

 The outfit was also supposed to be more punk or grunge meets seduction rather than a dark academia meets cosy-themed Vtuber. Not to mention the color theme was all over the place! This was also the first ever idea of Wakana and was originally going to be named Mio Yuuwaku Mio (澪), meaning “Beautiful cherry blossom,” but also implies “dark” or darkness, while Yuuwaku (誘惑) meant “Temptation” or “seduction” with a dark twist. From what I remember, her original personality was more villainess and evil without remorse as she tempted her followers with seduction to join her army rather than the current chaotic bundle of energy you see now!

This was the original design concept of Wakana Tsukiko. We stuck with the demon version; however, we made a few adjustments along the way!

Instead of being a human who died, we stuck with the idea of a half-demon and half-human. At this point, she didn't have much of a background or story to her as of yet, since that was still being worked on.

 The outfit became more dark academia while still giving off a more sensual vibe. We also changed the hair color and color palette to be more refined and not as all over the place! This was her PNG Vtuber Debut, as we still had no clue what directions we wanted to take as of yet with design. This soon design, however, grew on us and became an image we'd use for a while, including with Version 1.2, where we get a Model for LIVE2D.
