Waheguru is a Sikh Simran practice application developed by M2G (m2g.pages.dev). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

Phone number or unique 10-digit identifier — used to create and identify your account
Name — as entered by you during registration
Simran practice statistics — writing count, reciting count, listening time, and milestone achievements
Device information — used for app functionality and crash reporting
We do NOT collect:
Location data
Financial information
Browsing history
Any information without your knowledge
3. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to:
Create and manage your account
Save and sync your Simran practice progress across devices
Allow family members or teachers to view your progress when you share your identifier with them
Enable the annual Ardas registration at Takht Sahib Ji
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored locally on your device using encrypted local storage
Data is synced to Google Firebase servers located in India (asia-south2 region)
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties
5. Family and Children's Privacy
The app supports family profiles where parents or teachers can add profiles for children
Parents and teachers are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent before adding a child's profile
Children's Simran data is only accessible to the account holder who created their profile and authorized administrators
We comply with applicable children's privacy laws
6. Data Sharing
We do not share your personal information with third parties except:
Google Firebase (data storage and sync) — governed by Google's Privacy Policy
No advertising networks
No analytics companies
No data brokers

You have the right to:
Access your personal data
Correct inaccurate data (via Edit Profile in the app)
Delete your account and all associated data
Export your data

We will delete all your data within 7 business days
Note: Data deleted by request cannot be recovered
