Prince Henry was born to Princess Catherine of Wales and Arthur Fox, the famous movie star. He is the youngest child, his older brother Philip being first in line for the throne after his mother and then his older sister Beatrice too. 

Growing up with his parents, Henry didn't have too much to worry about other than the usual protocols and keeping up with his studies. Things changed when his father died and his mother became depressive and closed off. Philip took charge, taking more of a parental role rather than his usual brotherly one. Henry did not get along with him well after that, leaning more on Beatrice as the two tried to cope with the loss. 

Going through his own depression, he started seeing a therapist and was giving medicine to help calm his nerves and feelings, though it didn't always help. One such case was when he first met Alex, the First Son of the United States at the Olympics and he snapped at his Equerry, Shaan to get rid of him. 

Henry attended Eton college, an all boys university, where he pursued his English degree, He met his best friend Percy Okonjo there and the two hit it off instantly. During that time as well, was when he explored his sexuality more and slept around with one of his brothers friends, not that either of them ever spoke of it again as it was just a fling. He still avoids the man if he's around Philip, however. 

It's when his brother marries Martha, a respectable Duchess, that he ends up meeting Alex Claremont-Diaz again. He's nothing but a thorn in his side, more so given his crush he's had on him since he's known of him, which he doesn't mention. The two get into a tussle and knock over Philip and Marth's wedding cake. Everyone is angry and it's all over the media. It's resolved by the palace inviting Alex to come stay for a weekend and Henry tries to ignore him, but can't. 

As Henry falls for Alex, he knows that he shouldn't. Alex goes back to America, but he finds himself texting him and they become genuine friends. He was invited to the New Years party at the White House so he brings Percy 'Pez' with him and tries to enjoy the night. Parites were not something he enjoyed and seeing Alex kiss Nora snaps something in him and Henry goes outside, where Alex ends up finding him. Being brave for once, Henry takes Alex's face in his hands and he kisses him. Alex is kissing back and he hardly knows what to make of it, running away before the man can say much of anything. 

After that, they're finding excuses to meet and hook up. It's just a enemies to friends with benefits thing, that's all. But Henry knows it's more than that, at least for him. Alex invites him to his father's lake house and it's everything he could have ever dreamed and more. And yet, Henry is running away again. And eventually, he cuts Alex off and ghosts him, something he later regrets doing when Alex storms Kensington Palace and demand feelings out of him or make him leave. So he tells him the truth and they figure out a way to make it work. 

The emails leak and not even his medication can calm the panic attack that Henry has. What makes matters worse is not speaking to Alex, but then Shaan is giving him his phone and finally they talk and they figure that out too. Alex come to the Palace to help him talk some sense into his grandmother. His mother, surprisingly steps in and puts her foot down and shows them that the world, the majority of it anyway, approves. 

After the election, in which Alex's mother wins a second term, Henry ends up moving to New York to the Brownstone he bought so that he can be closer to Alex. Alex moves in with him as he goes to university there now and Henry runs a lgbt+ youth shelter there with his friend Pez. Things are better than he could have ever imagined and he hopes that they stay that way.
