Crystal Crag
Ascent of Crystal Crag (North Arête, I 5.7), with Michael Callen, June 19, 2019.
Timeline:
June 19, 2019. Lake Mary Road was closed due to the heavy snowfall of the last winter, so we parked at Tamarack Lodge and started walking along the road at 10:30. We were at the Lake George Marina at 11:15 and started up the snow-covered trail to the base of Crystal Crag. We started climbing at 12:30 and were on the summit at 14:17. We descended the West Face and took a quick break at Crystal Lake at 15:10. We were back at the Lake George Marina at 16:05 and back at the car at 16:50. (a 6:20 hour outing).
