Clouds Rest / Half Dome
Ascent of Clouds Rest (Clouds Rest Trail) and Half Dome (cables), with Sven Rady, July 1-3, 1999
Timeline:
July 1, 1999. Sven and I left the car at the Sunrise parking area near Tenaya Lake and took the Clouds Rest trail to the top of Clouds Rest. We camped near the summit.
July 2, 1999. We hiked up Half Dome via the cables route, and started to make our way back to Tenaya Lake via the Sunrise Lakes trail. We made a second camp in the woods somewhere along the way.
July 3, 1999. We hiked back to the car and drove home.
