Waco TX Winnebago Compact Coach Meetup

February 16th to 19th, 2026

This is our first Winnebago Compact Coach Meetup in Waco Texas, but we've got a feeling this'll become a new favorite annual event. There're loads of fun things to explore and we found a great location with a big shelter that'll hold up to 80 people at Airport COE Park on the northern side of Waco Lake. Check out some of the Waco activity ideas your Host Jennifer has put together on the <<Waco Info>> tab.  And Thank You Winnebago GoLife team for covering a portion of the Shelter cost for us!

Like most meetups, you need to do 2 things to join the meetup:

1. REGISTER WITH HOSTS: That's by submitting this simple <<Waco Meetup Registration Form>>.

2. BOOK A SITE:  Reserve the site of your choice. The COE Park website is: <<Airport Park COE Campground>> . The Shelter is at Site #37 and there's extra parking there if you want to drive rather than walk/bike over for our activities. The standard RV site cost is $32/night at this COE park ($16/night if you have an America the Beautiful Senior Pass).  Heads-up as of 9/17/25 the website appears to have a bug and not show all of the available sites if you attempt to filter by RV Length. So we advise you don't use that filter feature and instead review the Site Detail to ensure it works for your rig.

***Here's what you can look forward to (may be adjusted, especially for weather):

Mon (2/16)

• • • 3:30pm to ??:  Come on over to the Shelter (Site #37) to hang out after you arrive. We'll have Waco "things to do" info to share. Also see the <<Waco Info>> tab for Waco exploration ideas.

    • 5:30pm-ish to ??:

      • • Potluck dinner at the Shelter. Hosts will provide main protein. Please bring a side or dessert.

        • Planning for Tuesday... Sort out who is interested in doing what, plus logistics such as timing and if we'd like to rideshare.

Tue (2/17)

• • • All or Part of Day: Do Your Own Thing exploring Waco, by yourself or with whoever you decided to partner up with during our Monday evening planning. Chilling at the Shelter is also always an option.

    • 5pm-ish: Bring your own dinner to the Shelter, or eat out, or whatever you like.

Wed (2/18)

• • • 8:30am to 9:30am-ish: Light snacks provided by the meetup at the Shelter. Bring your own first cup of coffee/tea, but we'll have a kettle for hot water and pour-over coffee making supplies if you want a refill without going back to your RV.

    • 9am to 9:30am-ish:

      • • Share your Tuesday adventures! What you loved (or maybe didn't).

        • Planning for Wed/Thursday... Sort out who is interested in doing what, plus logistics such as timing and if we'd like to rideshare.

    • All or Part of Day: Do Your Own Thing exploring Waco, by yourself or with whoever you decided to partner up with during our breakfast planning.

    • Dinner/Night Out??? Maybe we'll decide to make reservations and eat dinner out somewhere during our Planning chat?

Thur (2/19)

• • • We need to vacate the Shelter by 2pm, but folks may decide to explore more of Waco on Thursday or even stay over more nights at the park.
